Samantha Yurkosky MS LAc was drawn to study acupuncture after being successfully treated for migraines eight years ago. She received her Master of Science degree from Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York City, where she was trained in four different styles of acupuncture to treat conditions such as chronic pain, anxiety, stress, insomnia, gastrointestinal issues, and women’s issues, among other things. Samantha has also been working within the framework of Chinese medicine to use acupuncture as a modality for personal growth. Within her practice, Samantha incorporates techniques such as cranio-sacral therapy, reiki, qigong, acupressure, and integrative hypnosis.
