12 noon--3pm

Be prepared to get your hands dirty in this workshop as you learn the art of Kokedama, a hanging houseplant encased in a ball of moss. After a brief discussion on the history of the moss ball and a hands-on demo by the instructor, participants will pick a plant to re-pot in a kokedama and spend the rest of the workshop perfecting their craft. Expect to take home 2 kokedama by the end of the workshop. 

Krissie Nagy has been making and selling her whimsical kokedama at the Brooklyn Flea since April, 2013. She is also the owner of BK Bumpkin, a garden design/build company based in Brooklyn.
